July 12, Friday - Philippine Daily Inquirer exposed the alleged multi-billion pork barrel scam identifying Janet Lim Napoles as the mastermind as Whistleblower Benhur Luy finally spoke. The scam also involves at least five senators and 23 congressmen in the siphoning of millions of pesos through their PDAF and putting them into ghost projects.
July 15, Monday - An Immigration Lookout Bulletin was issued by Justice Secretary Leila de Lima on the Napoles siblings to monitor their travels.
July 16, Tuesday - Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales created a 6-person team of investigators to look into the ghost projects that were allegedly funded by pork barrel funds. They were to conduct parallel investigations with the National Bureau of Investigation.
July 17, Wednesday - Napoles denied her involvement in the misuse of the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or pork barrel through a statement read by her lawyer at a press conference.
July 26, Friday - Jean Napoles, daughter of Janet Lim Napoles, exposed the family's extravagant lifestyle through her blog that went viral including her lavish 21st birthday party in Beverly Hills, CA.
July 31, Wednesday - A Rappler investigation revealed that Janet Napoles owned a luxury apartment that costed P80-million in Los Angeles, CA.
August 8, Thursday - A Rappler exclusive revealed three other properties of Napoles in California with a total net worth of P415.1 million.
August 13, Friday - Former Marine Colonel Ariel Querubin came forward to reveal a pyramid scam involving Napoles.
August 14, Saturday - Makati Regional Trial Court branched150 orders the arrest of Janet Lim Napoles and her brother Reynald "Jojo" Lim.
August 16, Monday - Napoles' lawyers filed an application for temporary restraining order to the Court of Appeals asking to stop the implementation of the arrest warrant against the Napoleses. In the same day, COA ordered the Napoleses' bank accounts to be frozen for six months.
August 17, Tuesday - Passports of Janet Napoles and brother Reynald Lim were cancelled by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
August 17, Tuesday - Senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada and Bong Revilla were reported by Commission on Audit to be patrons to the many dubious NGOs controlled by Napoles.
August 20, Friday - Chairman of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Sen. TG Guingona announced a formal probe into the multi-billion pork barrel scam. President Aquino ordered Inter-Agency Anti-Grafting Coordinating Council to start the probe consisting of the Ombudsman, DOJ and COA.
August 26, Thursday - At least 100,000 netizens and citizens join the Million People March at Luneta Park in the country's first-ever social media-organized protest against the pork barrel.
August 28, Saturday - President Aquino announced a P10-million reward for anyone who can give the whereabouts and help the authorities find Napoles and her brother Reynald "Jojo" Lim.
August 28, Saturday - (9:37pm) Napoles surrendered to Pres. Aquino in Malacanang. Aquino turned her over to DILG Secretary Mar Roxas and PNP Director Alan Purisima. Napoles spent the night in Camp Crame.
