Another lawmaker has been engaged in the supposed misuse of pork--- formally known as Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).

On Friday, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that P5 million worth of Senator Manuel “Lito” Lapid's pork was used in a scam.

According to the report, the money was used to purchase anti-dengue inoculants to Polillo town, Quezon province in 2011.

However, Dr. Michael Caampued, the town's health officer, said in the report that there was no reported case of dengue fever in the area on that year.

Before the issue on Lapid’s pork, five other senators were linked to the scam involving the use of the PDAF to fund ghost projects----- Ramon Revilla Jr., Jinggoy Estrada, Juan Ponce Enrile, Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Gregorio Honasan II.

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is currently investigating the alleged 10 B pork barrel scam.
